FUNDAMENTAL GROUP UNIT TO BUILD SOMETHING IMPORTANT
The press conference for Marco Curto's presentation was held today in the conference room of the Miramonti Hotel in Acquapartita, home of the bianconero retreat. Introducing the new Cavalluccio defender was Cesena FC's Sporting Director Fabio Artico, who said:
"Marco is a 25-year-old who arrives on a temporary loan from Como. He grew up in the youth sector of AC Milan before moving to Empoli, where he wore the jerseys of various teams between Serie C and Serie B, including, in recent years, those of Südtirol and Como. He is a structured defender who will undoubtedly give us a hand in raising the level, and I am very happy that he has arrived here because he will allow us to improve further a backpack that already did very well last year."
Next, Marco Curto took the floor, saying, "Last year was fantastic, but coming to Cesena is a conscious and convincing decision. I think it is an important step for my growth path because I believe I am in the right place to have the opportunity to continue to improve myself."
"I'm a structured defender able to play in both a two- and three-center system. I'm also quite fast and adept at headers."
"As soon as I arrived, I found a great group of guys, and I think this also made a difference in winning last season's championship. I am convinced of that because I think the key to achieving something important is the group, and here, I was welcomed very well by everyone from day one."
"Although different, Serie C and Serie B have several characteristics in common. As I said before, the group is my most important element, but today, we have to think game by game, always stick together, and give our best. By doing so, there will be no room for regrets, and we can take away great satisfaction."
“Growing up in a youth sector like Milan's teaches you a lot beyond soccer because you are given a lot of important indications, starting with discipline: in similar contexts, you grow sooner as a boy, you mature, and you can see things differently.”
