I ARRIVED AT AN AMBITIOUS CLUB, I'M READY TO HELP THE TEAM

Today, Joseph Ceesay was presented to the media at Hotel Miramonti in Acquapartita, the headquarters of the Cavalluccio's retreat.

Cavalluccio's new defender was introduced by Cesena FC's Sporting Director Fabio Artico, who said, "Joseph Ceesay is a Swedish boy of Gambian origin who, after growing up in Djurgården, played in the Swedish top division between Norrköping, Helsingborg, and Malmö, the latter team where he also collected eight appearances in the Europa League. Joseph has also already had experience outside his country, wearing the shirt of Lechia Gdansk in the Polish first division."

"He is an outside player who will strengthen the midfield because he possesses speed, drive, strength, and quickness. This purchase should also be read as an opening of the club towards European soccer. The will is to improve the team with profiles and opportunities that can come from international soccer."

After the Sporting Director's words, the new Cavalluccio defender Joseph Ceesay took the floor: “What are my expectations for this championship? I know I have arrived at an ambitious club. I have seen the boys, and I have noticed great quality. I expect to have fun, find great competition, and, I hope, also achieve great success."

"When we introduced ourselves to each other, Coach Mignani and I talked a bit. I had my first training session today, and we will certainly have time to discuss the role and everything else in the coming days. For me, however, it is very clear what I came here for, and I can't wait to start playing."

"I've known Italy for a long time, and everyone speaks well of it. Maybe people here are a little louder and warmer, but I like that. The language right now can be a little problem, but I have only been here for a couple of days, and I am still trying to learn as fast as I can. I am sure I will improve quickly in the coming months."

"I want to play, help the team, and do as well as possible. In the past, I have played in the first division in Poland and Sweden, a nation where I also had experiences in the second division. Still, I think that today, coming to the Italian Serie B is an important step forward in my career because I find it is a type of soccer that suits me."
