BASTONI BRINGS A LOT OF EXPERIENCE

This afternoon, in the press room, at Orogel Stadium Dino Manuzzi was the presentation of the new Cesena FC player, Simone Bastoni. Introducing the Cavalluccio midfielder to the media was Cesena FC Sporting Director Fabio Artico, who said:

"Bastoni is another piece of our new team preparing to face the Serie B Championship. Simone started his path in the Spezia youth sector, then collected a hundred appearances in Serie C between Carrarese, Siena, Trapani, and Novara, before returning to Spezia to mature almost a hundred games in Serie A, including the experience he had in Empoli last season."

“Beyond the technical aspect, Simone is another player who joins our group, bringing the experience of a higher category and raising the bar for the team concerning all those situations that will be created in a complex and difficult league like Serie B.”

"Simone also has flexibility, which he has shown in his career, and is usable in multiple roles, although he comes to play the midfielder role here. His was an under-the-radar operation, which we worked on with his agent to ensure we brought him here as soon as possible. I am thrilled and satisfied with the outcome of the transfer because he is a really important player for us, and I think he will give us a lot."
