HAPPY TO BE HERE AND BE PART OF A BIG GROUP

After the introduction of Sporting Director Fabio Artico, midfielder Simone Bastoni took the floor to answer questions from journalists in the press room at Orogel Stadium Dino Manuzzi.

"I am here because of the trust that the director and the club immediately placed in me. With Director Artico, it was enough to speak a few times precisely because of the trust I felt right away, and today, I am very happy to be here in Cesena."

"I immediately got along well with my teammates. We are a group of good guys and, as far as I could see, also great workers. I can use my experience gained in Serie C and Serie A to do something important for Cesena."

"I have played most of the games as a left halfback. However, my debut in Serie A was as a left fullback: this is to say that my placement on the field goes according to the coach's requests; I am always available. For me, this is a new adventure, and strange as it may seem, I have made more appearances in Serie C and Serie A than the few made in Serie B. However, I hope I can give continuity to my performance and give a hand to our team."

"What should be Cesena's goal? First, we must think about maintaining ourselves in the category, step by step, and then we will try to make the best championship possible. The house is built from the foundation to the roof, and in the end, we will see what ours will be."
