THE THIRD KIT OF 2024-25 IS HERE
Cesena FC launches its new third kit, thus completing the match jerseys for the 2024-25 football season, which sees the Cavalluccio return to the prestigious Serie B stage.
The distinctive peach fuzz color that characterizes the entire kit gives the uniform a fresh and modern touch. Black accents on the collar and sides enhance the jersey's unique and sophisticated design. The elegant contrast between the peach and black details enhances the outfit's refined and poetic look.
The real highlight of the third kit is the geometric pattern that entirely covers the jersey. This pattern, in addition to being aesthetically appealing, is a tribute to the historic Roman pavement found underground in the city center and today kept in the Hall of Honor of Palazzo Albornoz, thus recalling the cultural roots of Cesena.
Like the home and away jerseys, the new third jersey is made of Mundial fabric. This material provides a semi-adherent fit and a “second skin” effect to optimize performance on the field. The softness of the fabric and the double perforated construction with micro holes ensure optimal ventilation and ideal regulation of body temperature, supporting players in the most intense challenges of the season.
“This tribute of Cesena FC to the historical roots of our city,” comments Mayor Enzo Lattuca, ” further confirms how this sports reality is a living and integral part of the Cesena community. It reinforces in this way the sense of belonging and the common vision of a team that has achieved important goals and has already started this new championship, with the aim of bringing well up the name of our city.”
The mosaic, found in Fabbri Square between 1997 and 1998, occupies an area of about 50 square meters and consists of a geometric decoration in black and white tiles. Cesena discovered this valuable find during the start of work on an underground silo parking lot in the area in front of the Malatesta Library, where a Roman domus once stood.
“For the third kit designed with Erreà,” said Claudia Gatti, Head of Marketing Cesena FC, ” we decided to combine history and modernity. The homage to the flourishing period of Roman domination of Cesena is represented by the pattern on the jersey, which shows the splendid decorative motifs of the Roman Mosaic found in 1997 in Piazza Fabbri and currently on display at our city's Municipality. On the other hand, the contemporary feature consists of the shade “Peach Fuzz,” the color of 2024 according to Pantone, a crisp peach tone with a vintage air that reflects the past but gives the jersey a touch of new modernity.”
The new Cavalluccio third kit will be available online and at the Cesena FC Store in Piazza Amendola starting Wednesday, September 4.
