A STIMULATING GAME AWAITS US THAT I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY
On the eve of Pisa - Cesena, a pre-match press conference was held by Mister Michele Mignani, who presented the Cavalluccio's upcoming match, which will be played on Wednesday, September 25 at 4 p.m. at the “Arena Garibaldi - Romeo Anconetani” Stadium in Pisa and valid for the round of 16 of the 2024/2025 Coppa Italia Frecciarossa.
"I think that even if there is travel to be done, it is always better to play than to train, and fortunately, tomorrow's is not a faraway trip. We have another challenging game tomorrow against a team first in the standings. We have to go there with the right spirit because, for me, the motivation is very high: there is at stake the chance to win another passage to the round and to see someone I have seen less so far on the field. I'm looking forward to taking the field tomorrow. I want to see it like this, and I see it like this."
"What Pisa do I expect? This is a team with a coach who always gives a mentality to the group and, therefore, I expect to see the same Pisa that I saw in the league: a group that at this moment has great enthusiasm and always starts strong at the beginning of the game, with a clear identity and with a valuable roster."
"We always try to work to maintain concentration, pace, and attitude throughout the match. I felt that in Palermo, we were a bit timid in the first half, while in the second half, we returned to being ourselves. In this, there are probably also the merits of the opponent, who in the first half was brighter and more proactive: as I already stated in the post-match at the Barbera, in the first forty-five minutes, there was balance, while in the second half on points Cesena did better than Palermo."
"I make choices about the lineup as I always do on game day, today we had our last training session and everyone is fine. The only one who will stay in Cesena as a precautionary measure is Ceesay because of a small fatigue, for which we don't want to take any risks. I said before the Palermo trip that making the lineup is difficult because everyone deserves to play, which applies even more to tomorrow's game, given the two close matches."
