PART OF THE CESENA-MANTOVA PROCEEDS WILL BEDONATED TO PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THE FLOOD
A few days after the tragic flood that hit part of the Romagna region, Cesena FC has decided to donate part of the proceeds of the next match against Mantova, scheduled for Sunday, September 29 at 3 p.m., to the people affected by this dramatic natural disaster.
With this decision, the Bianconeri club intends to express its solidarity and closeness to the people affected by the flood that destroyed part of the village of Traversara on September 19 and caused severe damage in Lugo, Faenza, and many other places in the surrounding area.
“A little more than a year ago,” the Cavalluccio Property said in a joint note, ” we experienced firsthand the fear and despair resulting from the flood that hit the city of Cesena, and those moments will remain forever etched in our minds, impossible to forget. Today, we understand well the drama many families are experiencing, who have been deprived of their homes or other personal property from one moment to the next due to the tragic calamity that struck some areas of Romagna. This is why we have decided to allocate part of the proceeds of our next match to those who need help today to get going again, because the people of Romagna have taught us just that: united, we are unbeatable, and we are certain that, this time too, with the determination, courage, strength, and tenacity that distinguish our community, we will be able to react and overcome this dramatic situation altogether.”
On Sunday there is one more reason to be present at Orogel Stadium, we are waiting for you!
