THE HISTORIC QUALIFICATION ACHIEVED BY THE BIANCONERA'S UNDER-14 TEAM

Over the weekend, the Cesena FC Youth Sector celebrated reaching a new milestone in its history. Thanks to their 5-0 victory over San Marino Academy, the Under 14 squad finished the tournament's first phase in second place in group 5, thus qualifying for the interregional phase of the Under 14 Professionals Championship for the first time in the Club's history.

The team led by coach Alessio Serafin gained 41 points in 18 games, with 13 victories, 2 draws, and only 3 defeats. They left the Under 14 teams of US Sassuolo, Bologna FC, and Modena FC behind them. The Bianconeri also had the strongest defense in the tournament, with only 16 goals conceded. Their team also had the top scorer of the first phase of the competition, Diego Succi, who scored 21 goals.

Fabrizio Faro, the manager of the Cavalluccio youth team, commented on the great result obtained by the Under 14 Bianconeri as follows: “The value and importance of this result lies in a group, made up of players and staff, who started working together last year, thus allowing the group to maintain continuity and favor its development as a whole. Our objective, right from the start of the season, has always been to see the growth of the whole team and this year, we are happy to have also achieved important results on the field, thanks to the good work that began last season.”

This result makes us even more proud and gratifying,” continues Fabrizio Faro, ”because it was achieved in a group that includes well-equipped teams and big football clubs; the qualification obtained represents a significant milestone for the team and the club, not only for the prestige it entails, but also for the opportunities for growth and development that come with it, as it gives us the chance to play against other top Italian soccer teams. Moreover, this result certifies and demonstrates the growth of a project that involves the Basic Activities of Cesena FC. This entire sector has always been the flagship of the club”.
