FILIPPO FUSCO IS THE NEW SPORTING DIRECTOR OF CESENA FC
Cesena FC announces that it has entrusted the direction of the club's technical area to Filippo Fusco. The new Bianconero director has signed a contract that runs until June 30, 2026.
Born in Naples in 1969, Fusco began his career in sports management after completing his academic studies with a law degree. He started in the 1999/2000 season, holding the position of general manager of the technical area of SSC Napoli, with which he secured promotion to Serie A.
After gaining further experience as a consultant in the technical area of Benevento Calcio, the newly appointed Juventus manager held the position of director of the technical area at Foggia, Bologna FC, and Hellas Verona FC, achieving another promotion to the top division with the Gialloblù.
In 2019, he joined the Football Teams Area of Juventus, serving as technical manager of the Under-23 formation, which that year won the Coppa Italia Serie C, and of the Under-19 selection, which played in the Primavera 1 Championship.
In the 2021/2022 season, he was appointed sporting director of San Fernando Club Deportivo, a club in the Spanish Primera Federación. In the 2023/2024 season, he joined SPAL, where he held the position of technical area director.
For more than a decade, moreover, Fusco has been teaching courses for sports directors, football scouts, and coaches organized by the Technical Sector of the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio.
The entire Bianconeri family intends to extend a warm welcome and best wishes to the new director of the technical area, and a fruitful career among the ranks of Cavalluccio.
