PRIMAVERA | COME BACK AT THE END AGAINST THE CREMONESE
Another last-minute draw for Cesena FC Primavera, who scored in stoppage time to make it 2-2 against US Cremonese in the match valid for the thirteenth day of the 2025/26 Primavera 1 Championship.
The match started evenly, with both teams studying each other without overexposing themselves. In the 14th minute, Cremonese broke the deadlock with a solo effort from Ragnoli Galli, who recovered the ball in midfield and finished his run, intending to make it 1-0.
The Cavalluccio's first significant chance came in the 18th minute, when Galvagno made a good run into the box and forced Cassin into a decisive save to keep the Grigiorossi in front.
In the 22nd minute, Bertaccini took a free kick from 25 meters and found a splendid trajectory that slipped into the corner, bringing the match back to a tie.
The pace of the game remained high, and Cavalluccio came close to taking the lead in the 37th minute with a shot by Carbone following a corner kick, but the opposing defense blocked it, and the first half ended 1-1.
In the second half, the Bianconeri were immediately aggressive, and in the 69th minute, they were awarded a penalty after Wade was brought down in the area by Zilio. Rossetti stepped up to take the penalty, but Cassin guessed correctly and saved it, keeping the score level.
With twenty minutes to go, Cesena FC were reduced to ten men after Ribello was sent off, and Cremonese took advantage in the 84th minute when Prendi made it 2-1.
However, in stoppage time, Ricci found the right moment on a high ball and, taking advantage of the Grigiorosso goalkeeper's failure to come out, headed home the 2-2 goal that saved the Bianconeri.
Mister Nicola Campedelli‘s Bianconeri will return to the pitch on Sunday, December 7, at 1:00 p.m., when they face AS Roma in the match valid for the fourteenth day of the 2025/26 Primavera 1 Championship.
