GOOD FIRST HALF, WHILE IN THE SECOND HALF WE MADE MORE EFFORT
At the end of the match against Frosinone Calcio, Mister Michele Mignani presented himself in front of the journalists present.
"When you set out to win a match and you don't succeed, you have to try to understand the reasons for it with great serenity and calm. I believe the team played a good first half in all respects because they moved the ball patiently when Frosinone were waiting for us to drop back, tried to find solutions, and found them. Maybe they weren't always spotless, but we managed to be dangerous after breaking through on the left two or three times, with the characteristics we wanted to bring to the field today."
"We managed to take the lead, but then matches are long and we saw it again today: the second half was different, because Frosinone completely changed their tactical approach and we found it harder to get back into the game, harder to put up a fight and, above all, we couldn't get back up the pitch, thus losing ground. I don't think Frosinone created many chances, and I think that on the occasion of the goal, there was a misinterpretation on our part, as we do at least once a game, and we paid dearly for it.“
”In my opinion, Antonucci played a very generous and intense game today, especially in the second half. He worked on two opponents covering a lot of ground, so it was more difficult to get him lucid in offensive situations. Given how the game went, I think the result is fair. It was a game where very important points were at stake, both for them and us, and now whoever takes the field must have stamina, courage and personality. The games are dirtier than in the first leg, so I'm happy to take home this point, assuming we always start the game to try to win."
