IT WILL BE A DIFFICULT GAME, BUT WE ARE A SPECIAL GROUP

At the end of the final training session on the eve of the match, captain Andrea Ciofi presented the match between Frosinone Calcio and Cesena FC at a press conference. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, at 8:30 p.m. at the Benito Stirpe Stadium and is valid for the 7th day of the 2025/2026 Serie BKT Championship.

“I think playing so soon after Saturday's match is a positive factor for us, especially since we've had an important start to the season, as has Frosinone. It will certainly be a difficult match, one that we will have to approach with great intensity, but we have a special group, in which everyone is ready to do their best, and those who play less always train to the maximum too be able to contribute when needed.”

The main thing that sticks with me from Saturday's game is that I saw a lively team, always on the ball, who played on equal terms against one of the favorites in this league. This hunger is definitely what makes me most proud of my teammates. It was a performance that followed the important one in Venice, and this is the path we must continue to pursue, as we can achieve great satisfaction.

“Frosinone will certainly be a tough team to face, with some very skilled players in one-on-one situations. They have good players on the wings and other quality players, including Calò, whom we are familiar with, and who possesses great footwork. We have prepared well, knowing what their strengths are and aware that we will have to run a lot to try to win all the duels.”
