CESENA JUMPS TORRES AND NOW IS IN FIRST PLACE

Cesena won for the first time in the with a cynical performance. The Bianconeri took the lead in the 18th minute thanks to Donnarumma's goal and controlled the result for the rest of the match. Thanks to this success, the Bianconeri took first place in the standings.

After the first 15 minutes, Cesena scored the match's first goal, thanks to the two wingers. Adamo kept a difficult ball in play and managed to cross into the middle for the timely header of Donnarumma who made the match 1-0. After the lead, the Bianconeri managed possession and went close to doubling the lead with Chiarello, but his close-range shot went too high. In the 35th minute was the crucial situation of the match; Francesco Disanto was sent off after an unbalanced reaction against Pieraccini. In the 41st, Entella attempts the first conclusion of the match with Petermann, who tries from outside the box, but the ball went just wide.

In the second half, Virtus Entella tried to attack more to look for the equalizing goal, but Cesena was orderly and conceded little. In the 78th minute, Entella tried with Di Mario, whose sailed just over the crossbar. After a minute, Cesena's answer comes with Pierozzi, but his header goes off target. As the minutes pass, the Bianconeri try to close the game on the counterattack, with a few great chances close to goal. The last actions are Entella's: first with Petermann from the distance and then twice with Corbari from the edge of the box, with all three conclusions being blocked by Cesena's strong defense. These are the last chances for the Ligurian squad to look for an equalizer; after Mirabella gives five minutes of recovery, Cesena obtains an important success that allows them to pass Torres and control first place.
