CESENA - ANCONA: 4-0 VICTORY IN THE FIRST MATCH AT OROGEL STADIUM
Cesena does not betray the expectations in front of their fans (9500 spectators): it was a 4-0 victory thanks to an excellent performance from the whole squad. The Bianconeri took the lead in the first half with Silvestri's goals and then closed the match in the second half thanks to Corazza's brace and Shpendi's goal.
In the first half, Cesena started strong right away; after just 30 seconds, Ogunseye tried a diagonal shot and forced Vitali to deflect it into a corner. In the 10th minute, on a free kick by Donnarumma, Prestia takes a header with the ball going just wide. In the 30th minute, again, Ogunseye breaks free in the middle of two defenders and puts the ball just over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Adamo's corner kick finds Silvestri, who breaks the tie to put Cesena ahead. In the 42nd minute, Toscano is forced to sub out Ogunseye, who Kargbo replaced. Ogunseye left the match with an injury.
In the second half, Cesena does not lower the intensity. After just 10 minutes, Cesena takes a 3-0 lead with Corazza's brace: first, the Joker is ice cold from the penalty spot, then he is lethal in front of the goalkeeper after sneaking past a defender to find the goal. In the 27th minute of the second half, Cristian Shpendi scores his first goal of the season off a pass from Donnarumma.
