It will be Orogel Stadium Dino Manuzzi stadium in Cesena to host the Coppa Italia Women's Frecciarossa final between Roma and Fiorentina, scheduled for Friday, May 24 at 9:30 p.m., with live coverage on Rai 2. The Romagna facility will again be the scene of a match that will award a women's trophy four and a half years after the Supercoppa in October 2019. A month ago, Cesena was also the site for the men's European Under-21 qualifying match between Italy and Latvia.
Frecciarossa, the excellence of Made in Italy and the flagship product of Trenitalia, the parent company of the Passenger Hub of the FS Group, is already a Premium Partner of the National Football Teams. After the Supercoppa played in January in Cremona, it has also linked its brand to the competition won in the last two editions by Juventus, which was eliminated in the semifinals by Fiorentina.
It will be the first final in the history of the competition between the Giallorossi and the Viola, both making their fourth appearance in the decisive act of the Coppa Italia and who will also face each other in Serie A on Saturday, with Roma's chance to mathematically win its second consecutive Scudetto. Fiorentina lifted the trophy in 2017 and 2018 (in both cases against Brescia), losing the final in 2019 to Juventus; Roma, on the other hand, has participated in the last three finals, winning the one in 2021 against AC Milan and losing the previous two to Juventus.
